Chamber Choir Ireland announces new Artistic Director and Principal Conductor
Chamber Choir Ireland has just announced the appointment of the internationally renowned conductor Gabriel Crouch as their Artistic Director and Principal Conductor. Chamber Choir Ireland is Ireland's national chamber choir and premier professional choral ensemble. Crouch succeeds Paul Hillier, who has held the position since 2008. Crouch’s career to date includes over 900 performances in almost every major concert venue in the world, as well as numerous celebrated recordings


Get Inspired at the UCD Festival
On Saturday, June 7th, University College Dublin’s Belfield campus will host over 100 free events as part of the annual UCD Festival. This year’s line-up features demonstrations by aerospace engineer and baker Andrew Smyth as well as disability advocate Sinéad Burke. Elsewhere at this year’s festival, Literary Curator RTÉ broadcaster Rick O’Shea, presents an eclectic lineup of talks. All events are free.

The UCD Festival 2025 takes place on Saturday, June 7 with over 100 Free activities. This year's festival will feature an educational UCD Lyons Farm showcase as well as contributions from aerospace engineer and baker Andrew Smyth and disability advocate Sinéad Burke. RTÉ broadcaster Rick O’Shea is the festival Literary Curator and there will be there will be talks with authors Paul Perry, Jan Carson, Roisín O'Donnell, Claire Coughlan, and Karl Geary.


The Night Belongs to Youth
The Night Belongs to Youth will take place on Saturday, 7th June, featuring a colourful carnival-style procession that will make its way to the summit of the hill. The event is organised by Creative Places Enniscorthy and is billed as a highlight of this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg, the national day of creativity for young people. Created by young people from across Wexford, this piece will culminate in an immersive spectacle featuring drumming, ceremonial dance, and song.
