The DLR Mill Theatre Dundrum has revealed details of a spectacular festive production of Hansel and Gretel for its annual Christmas show extravaganza.
Brought to life in partnership with Golden Bake, this deliciously hilarious reimagining of the sweet fairy tale promises to be the perfect festive family outing. Running from December 4, 2025, to January 4, 2026, tickets start at €21, with a family-of-four package available for just €80.
This show is the beloved breadcrumb fable turned into the gingerbread blockbuster of the decade, explains director Geoff O’Keeffe:
“Our Dundrum Witch is one sweet tooth away from winning Witches Bake Off and guess whose chompers she’s after? Join us for an adventure through a magical winter wonderland, with sets so tasty that Mum and Dad will be nibbling the scenery. We’ve a wonderfully talented ensemble cast and a production packed with toe-tapping songs, belly laughs, and non-stop audience interaction for both young audiences as well as the young at heart.”
Celebrated by parents for their one-hour Christmas shows that provide a hassle-free experience away from the city centre, audience members can expect punchy musical numbers and a hilarious cast that’s sure to enchant children of all ages. For people who may find the excitement overwhelming there will be a number of relaxed performances on offer.
