A new weekly experiential concept club night, LET’S ROCK, was launched in Dublin on Friday night.

Over 200 guests from the worlds of arts, media, and entertainment attended the launch of the inaugural LET’S ROCK at Soho Nightclub on D’Olier Street.

Drawing inspiration from emerging nightlife trends in mainland Europe, this new addition to Dublin’s nightlife scene offers a fusion of sizzling rock DJ sets, jaw-dropping live pop-up performances, and interactive roaming entertainers.

Guests rocked the night away in Soho’s lavish VIP lounge, with organiser Clive Power remarking that the event is bringing something totally different to Dublin’s nightlife scene:

“We’re overwhelmed with the response to the opening of LET’S ROCK. Much of Dublin’s party scene over the last few years has been dominated by electronic music and regular R&B club nights. Now, Dubliners can come straight from work at 6 PM on a Friday and walk straight into a high-energy, festival-like atmosphere. There’s incredible live music, with musicians playing over rock anthems. It’s pure joy on the dance floor, with an incredible sense of nostalgia.”

The rock revolution doesn't stop there. For this Friday’s show, organisers have revealed details of a special LET’S ROCK Culture Night to tie in with the citywide celebrations:

“With this Friday night being Culture Night across the capital, we’re planning a major LET’S ROCK party in SoHo. Attendees can arrive at 6 PM and soak up the festival atmosphere before heading out to explore the city. In the spirit of Culture Night, we’re offering 30 guests free entry to the party with complimentary drinks on arrival. Come kick off your Culture Night in style at SoHo.”

Looking forward, organisers are currently booking up talent for the Lets Rock performances into the autumn and winter months:

“As well as the incredible guitar soloists and drummers, we’ve a number of West End stars who will be coming to Ireland to perform on the club nights. It’s going to be very exciting. We see this as the antidote to Dublin’s declining dancefloors.”

LET’S ROCK, Culture Night special, will kick off on Friday, September 19th, at 6 PM. DJ Terry will be taking to the decks, with rock-burlesque performances, pyrotechnic displays, and some very special live guest performers.

Tickets for LET’S ROCK are €12.50, and all guests will be greeted with a free “Prince of Darkness” cocktail on arrival. The tickets, along with the complimentary Culture Night passes, are available now on Eventree
